Income from selling milk or lambs can provide education, food, medical care or a multitude of other valuable needs for families. And healthier, stronger families mean healthier, stronger communities!

Cows, and the milk they produce, help families grow healthier and more financially secure. A cow’s milk can be consumed, adding nutrients to the family’s diet, or sold, adding to the family’s income. The cow’s manure serves as a fertilizer for farmers, resulting in a better harvest. As cows multiply, so does the financial benefit and the family’s hope.

Many families work as laborers; sometimes having to sell their children just to earn enough money to support their family. By providing a sewing machine to those in need, they now have a chance to start their own tailoring business. Once the sewing machine is given, classes are provided so people can start putting their new machines to good use.
